Modesto Youth Soccer Association / Ajax United began as a local youth‐soccer initiative in the Central Valley, committed to creating an inclusive space for players of all ages and abilities.
AJAX United’s vision is to be a top soccer program and provide top-level opportunities right here in the Central Valley. We develop the skills and knowledge of players and coaches in a high quality and positive environment while growing their love and passion for soccer. The Core Values shall be learning, development, responsibility, sportsmanship, and diversity. Every player and coach shall be given the opportunity to achieve their dreams and to compete at their highest level based on their abilities and hard work.
AJAX United represents the competitive program of the Modesto Youth Soccer Association. With over 40 years of history, we are one of the premier competitive soccer clubs in Northern California. AJAX United has developed players who have played professionally both domestically and internationally including USMNT players Cade Cowell and Heath Pearce and USWNT player Tisha Venturini.
Our club provides competitive playing opportunities for boys and girls ages 7 to 19 years old who are seeking advanced training and development in a year round program under the direction of professionally licensed coaches. With 40 teams and over 500 players, AJAX United is the best soccer club in the greater Modesto and Central Valley region. Our teams participate in MLS Next, NPL, Girls Academy and Premier level programs. Our program offers the opportunity for elite players to develop and participate in both the CYSA Olympic Development Program, Nor Cal Player Development Program, and US Club id2 Program.
Player evaluations for team placement are held annually and throughout the year for any and all interested players. There is no cost for a player evaluations. We have established an age appropriate curriculum designed to develop each and every player’s potential. Our program offers training and development of all players including specialized goalkeeping training.
